Father Nathan Ghysbrecht gave his passionate quest for exquisite coffee a concrete twist. After an intensive apprenticeship with master roasters, he embarked on the artisanal roasting of his own balanced and intense coffee. "Matubu" was born in the De Struise Brouwers building in Vleteren.
The coffee concept "Matubu" has grown from its original man-cave adventure into a unique brand with a growing number of believers. Six years after its launch, the coffee roastery relocated to a building in Dudzele, complete with a shop and a terrace where you can enjoy a sublime cup of coffee. The location is also the place to be for coffee lovers who want to further develop their passion through a workshop.
Matubu is a family business. Meanwhile, father Nathan has passed the torch to his sons Elie and Félix. And blood is thicker than water! The next generation has inherited the unstoppable drive for exceptional quality and is ready to expand Matubu's reach.
